Corporate Training Programs
EmpowHERed offers workshops and corporate training programs based on the research, content, and critical data collected for the award-winning Women in Leadership course, a course Susan and Anjali created and teach at American University Kogod School of Business.
In these workshops, issues examined include the severity of gender inequality in the workplace, the negative implications for business, and the challenges and barriers that women leaders face. Tools and strategies are offered that can be integrated immediately to overcome these barriers and provide recommendations on how organizations can support women leaders to make lasting change. The overall goal of these workshops is to highlight that the greater diversity in an organization, the higher a company’s potential revenue, and the lower the employee turnover.
These workshops serve as an effective complement to an organizations' in-house diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts, with clients including Capital One, PwC, and the American Resort Development Association offering them as an enhancement to their current women's leadership initiatives. As external consultants, Susan and Anjali are experts in this niche industry, and are able to foster honest, open discussion among participants about the challenges facing an organization as well as help to uncover effective solutions to help organizations overcome these challenges.
